Nike TN Air Max Plus Jade Ice Blue

Oregon-based sportswear powerhouse Nike distributes more cool tones for summer with this women’s Nike TN Air Max Plus “Jade Ice Blue” rendition. The TN Air Max Plus turns 25 in 2023, with Nike celebrating the silhouette with a run of collaborations such as the upcoming A-COLD-WALL* capsule.

Nike’s patented Air Max cushioning system defined the brand’s 90s running footwear era. The Nike TN Air Max Plus arrived 11 years after the brand introduced the Air Max 1. Tuned Air technology features Nike Air units reinforced with rubber hemispheres for more stability without sacrificing the bounce. Designer Sean McDowell led the development of this new Air Max series, taking design elements from palm trees and a whale’s tail to form the futuristic design. Mesh comprises the upper of the Air Max Plus, with TPU overlays reinforcing the sides and leather covering the mudguard. Visible Nike Tuned Air units adorn the PU midsole for superior cushioning and comfort. The waffle sole makes up the decoupled outsole for consistent traction.

This colourway features a light blue mesh base with gradient details on the TPU overlays transitioning from blue to purple. Dark blue accents adorn the leather mudguard and heel panel. Yellow Swooshes on the sides complement the TN logos. Yellowish tones on the PU midsole add vintage aesthetics to this 25-year-old sneaker.
