Grateful Dead x Nike SB Dunk Low 'Orange Bear'

Part of a collaboration with the Grateful Dead, the Nike SB Dunk Low Grateful Dead Bears Orange CJ5378-800 features inspiration from the back cover of History of the Grateful Dead, Volume One (Bear's Choice). The influence of the 1973 live album becomes apparent on the Dunk CJ5378-800 shoe's furry orange upper, overlaid by tonal suede. A jagged Swoosh highlights the look, while the tongue, which includes a hidden stash pocket, sports a bear graphic. Nike Skateboarding teamed up with legendary psychedelic rock band Grateful Dead and San Francisco-based skate shop FTC to release the special edition Nike SB Dunk Low Grateful Dead Bears Orange. As the first release of a series of three Grateful Dead colorways, this Nike SB Dunk Low pays homage to the Grateful Dead Bears, a series of stylized dancing bears illustrated by Bob Thomas on the back cover of the album History of the Grateful Dead, Volume One (Bear’s Choice) in 1973.
