Nike TN Air Max Plus Plum Yellow

The Air Max icon gets another fire colourway with this “Plum Yellow” edition, adding to the strong TN lineup for 2023. Seeing as a yellow mini Swoosh on a TN is familiar territory, fans of the silhouette might be rubbing their hands in anticipation, with their minds casting back to the OG “Hyper Blue” colourway that debuted decades ago. However, when combined with a plum gradient on the upper, this is unlike any other Nike Air Max Plus we’ve seen before, so the Swoosh may have just given us the strongest colourway to drop in 2023.

The sharp-eyed sneakerheads may recognise the “Pum Yellow” palette, melding together yellow, grey and pale blue that echoes the iconic Air Max 98 “Tour Yellow” colourway. Ticking that signature TN detail is the gradient on the upper that moves from a plumb into an off-white, a blend that is making a first appearance on this Air Max Plus iteration. Balancing out those brighter accents are the mudguard and midsole, formed from muted tones that helps tone down the louder portions of the shoe. Similar to what we saw with the “Frequency Pack” iteration, the sole is formed from yellow and black, with the split made obvious on the Whale tale placed within the midsection.
