Nike Air Max Plus 3“Volt”

An expressive design decision from The Swooshes' early 2000s catalog, the Nike Air Max Plus 3 has been reinvigorated for 2019, exploring a collection of modern and proud designs. Recently, Sean McDowell's designs have undergone some advanced tooling while inspiring an inky aesthetic. Swapping the leather overlays for a messy jet-gray suede tooling, the rest of the duo is cured in just dark black tones, save for crisp white accents in the TPU strip gradient. A monochromatic base layer infuses title style at the closure, allowing embroidered forefoot Swooshes, tongue branding, and Tuned Air logos on the heel to shine in a vibrant "Volt" pulse that echoes the model's synonymous red and yellow "TN" badge.
